Built in 1750, the Grade-II listed house was originally part of Dartmouth Jail which was situated in the centre of Anzac Square – our house was thought to have formed part of the jail house.

We first saw the pink house in 2012 and we instantly fell in love with the incredible location and the beautiful front to the house which really stands out as you arrive in Anzac square.
We bought the property early in 2016 and began a substantial renovation project which was completed in early 2017 to bring it up to modern living standards whilst retaining the charm of the house.
We have removed an internal wall to join up the dining room and kitchen area to make a larger living space and installed a new kitchen. New flooring has been laid throughout the entire property and each sash window has been restored.
The house has 2.5 bedrooms (one bedroom is set in the very top floor in the eaves of the roof and has just enough room for a child's bed and a bedside table) - a double bedroom and a twin room situated on the middle floor and downstairs the house has a good-sized kitchen (brand-new) & dining area with a small sitting room with two 2-seater sofas.
There is a small bathroom with a modern shower on the middle floor next to the 2 main bedrooms.
The house is very small but perfectly formed!
